A Guided Tour Through Multiview Relations
نویسنده
چکیده
The aim of this paper is to give the non-specialist reader a comprehensible and intuitive introduction to multiview relations. It focusses on the geometric interpretation of the di erent image relationships, but also presents a concise mathematical formalism which allows to derive the algebraic expressions explicitly in an elementary and uniform manner. Special attention has been paid both to these multiview constraints as geometric incidence relations between image features (i.e. points and lines) in di erent views as well as to their use for image transfer. Moreover, an attempt has been made to provide su cient pointers to the literature where the interested reader may nd additional information on particular subjects as well as alternative viewpoints and mathematical formalisms.

متن کاملThe Data Viewer: a Program for Graphical Data Analysis
This thesis describes some new graphical methods for analyzing high-dimensional data based on motion through sequences of projections. 3-D point cloud rotations provide the canonical example of such methods. The grand tour (Asimov 1985), is a recent attempt at devising a higher 4imensional analog. It is insufficient for data analysis purposes b~cause the motion paths areirandofuly constructed, ...
متن کاملBehavioural Impacts of Mobile Tour Guides
Electronic tour guides have been developed to personalise guided tours. Also, in contrast to traditional tours, electronic tour guides allow their users to abandon or modify tours at any time. Research as to whether users take advantage of these added capabilities is currently not available. A field trial was conducted comparing the behaviour of tourists as they were using a Planner providing a...
متن کاملPersonalized Guided Tour by Multiple Robots through Semantic Profile Definition and Dynamic Redistribution of Participants
Existing robot guides are able to offer a tour of a building, such as a museum, bank, science center, to a single person or to a group of participants. Usually the tours are predefined and there is no support for dynamic interactions between multiple robots. This paper focuses on distributed collaboration between several robot guides providing a building tour to groups of participants. Semantic...
